I have not read the books but many of my students have commented on how much they enjoy them. Recently on Yahoo there was an article which stated that the second movie in the series should come out in 2010. Luckily one of my students from another class lent me the book to read over break.

I love the Twilight series! My favorite books in the series were the first one, Twilight, and the third one Eclipse, but they are all wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and I did recommend it to my friend. She read it and loved it. One of the most interesting thing about the series is the complicated love triangle beteween the main character, Bella, her vampire boyfriend, Edward, and her best firend and werewolf, Jacob Black. This sounds far-fetched and a little weird, but the author Stephenie Meyer writes it so beautifully that it is a very compelling series. Definitely read it!

Twilight

Recently, teens everywhere have been reading the book Twilight. Personally, it is my favorite book, I read the first one and I couldn't put it down. When I first heard about it I thought it would be stupid because my friend told me it was about a vampire, and I thought it would be like Harry Potter (which I don't like). However, I was totally wrong. It is so much more than just vampires, it is a great love story between 2 people who are destined to not be together. I really don't like to read, I do it when I have to for school, but I would never read for fun, until I started Twilight. There are 4 books in the twilight series, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The movie for Twilight came out today and I can not wait to see it. My friends saw it at midnight and they said that it was so good. Usually, movies don't even compare to the book, but this seems to be just as good. Also, I think it is good for teens to not be watching t.v or on the computer all day, so by reading these books, you can enjoy yourself and also be doing good things for yourself at the same time.
